You're probably here because you're among the home obsessed like I am. Seriously, it's my favorite place on the planet. Or maybe you're just being supportive of my creative outlet (hi, mama) & I love that too. The world of design has always called me. I remember being little and committing so hard to a theme in my pre-teen bedroom. The turquoise, purple and lime green colorway had it's time, okay?! My junior year in high school meant I could finally choose an elective for myself. A class that I wanted to take. Of course, the ink wasn't even dry in the box marked "interior design" before I was running it back to the counselor's office. Much to my disappointment, they informed me no one had actually ever signed up for that class in the history of the school's entire existence. "You can purchase your own curriculum & we'll mold you into the 5th period sewing class if you're okay with that?" Thankfully we were able to make it happen!

 

I've had the privilege of helping loved ones & locals in my area buy & sell Real Estate since I was a mere 20 years old & became licensed in my state. My passion for "home" has allowed me the opportunity to help others find a place to call their own over the years & to even help some visualize the potential of a fixer upper from time to time!

Fast forward to early 2021 & unknowingly, the person I was walking through "the house with so much potential" was my future husband, Austin! He moved into what is now our home in April & we began diving right into the journey of DIY. Fortunately, we have similar taste & usually don't have an issue agreeing on a paint color or decor item. Believe it or not, I DO run every design decision past Austin... he does live here too after all ;)

Our home is very average sized (about 1400 finished sq ft average) but the more we add to the spaces in this house through the use of design & intentionally chosen decor pieces..the less "average" it feels to us. This place really does feel extraordinary to us so my desire is to share that with you all! Don't just work with what you have...create something AMAZING with what you have. I don't believe you need the biggest house on the block to have the BEST house on the block for your family. Oops, I forgot I was a Realtor for a second ;)

I also love all things hosting, being in the kitchen, doting over our golden retriever & being married to a coach!
